The Stenciled Room

Blue Room

A mirror-paned door can open from the Blue Room into the Stenciled Room where contemporary artist, Carolyn Hedge, has painted willow and other traditional stencil patterns upon the walls.

This room features two rare twin-size matching antique cannon-ball beds with reproduction-period bed coverings, an antique tiger maple dresser and tiger maple side table, antique reverse-painted-on-glass mirror, plus lighting made from period vessels all compliment each other to guarantee a good night's sleep in this peaceful room. Looking out the north window, you can see the carriage house and the lovely garden.

This room and the Blue Room can be combined to make a most comfortable suite for those traveling with more than two people.
